Pietro Sibello

Pietro started sailing at the age of eight in Optimist and 470 classes.
In 1998, with his brother, he starts sailing on 49ers and in four years becomes one of best helmsmen in the world, winning a European Championship and three bronze medals in World Championships.
After the Olympic Games in Athens (2004) and Beijing (2008), his results allow the Italian team to qualify for London 2012. In the past two years he obtained excellent results in Melges, Moth and GC32 classes.
This is his second America’s Cup with Luna Rossa.
