Michael Richelsen

From Denmark born in 1955, Michael graduated from the Technical University of Denmark with a M.Sc. and Ph.D. focusing on structural and fluid interaction, in particular for sail-like membranes. He won the 32nd America’s Cup (2007) with Alinghi, where he was CFD manager, as also in the 2010 challenge. He was involved in developing the wing mast programm with North Technology Group. In the last two campain he was the CFD specialist for the “aero” part in team Luna Rossa.
