An Italian rower, bronze medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Bruno boasts several titles, both in world championships (bronze in the "Eight" in Sarasota 2017, silver in the "Coxless Four" in Plovdid in 2018, a World Cup win in the "Coxless Four" in 2021 and second place in the 2019 edition) and in European championships (silver in the "Coxless Four" in Poznan 2020 and third in the “Coxless Four" in 2021), plus a silver in the "Coxless Four" at the 2008 World Coastal Rowing Championships. He also won three world junior championships in the specialty of the "Quadruple Scull" in 2005 and two indoors in 2005 and 2006. After closing his Olympic career, the Circolo Canottieri Aniene athlete turns to sailing, his great passion, and participates in the selections for grinders in Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, joining the team in 2022. The 2024 America's Cup will be his first. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, traveling, and is interested in sports in general. If he were not a sailor, he would probably be a geologist.
