"Official" photographer of the America's Cup, which he has followed and captured through his lens since 1983, Carlo was born in Bellano on Lake Como where he began his career. Thanks to his collaboration with Uomo Mare Vogue magazine, he began to travel the world immortalizing the most important sailing events and soon became known internationally as the photographer of choice. He has immortalized the adventures of Giovanni Soldini, Rolex events, four Whitbread Round the World Races, "The Race" and several Volvo Ocean Races. He has also photographed 12 America's Cup campaigns, four of them following Luna Rossa. Among various awards and honors, he also boasts a plaque from President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano "for his many years of intense activity to the benefit of the sailing world'". He has participated in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe, including three solo shows held in Paris, Milan and at the Iseo Arsenal. That of 2024 will be his 13th America's Cup, the fifth with Luna Rossa.
