Born in Carbonia (Sardinia), Gianluca has been fascinated by the world of cuisine - and especially by the world of pastry-making - since he was a child; thus he began at a very early age to help his cousin in his pastry workshop. Once he turned 18, he started working for a number of renowned hotels in Sardinia (Chia Laguna, Forte Village, Baia di Nora) and in the Dolomites, becoming a first pastry chef. In 2023 he joins Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli with whom he hopes to win the oldest trophy in sports history, given his great passion for the sea and sailing.
