Francesco - Checco - Bruni is one of the most complete, eclectic and successful Italian sailors: in his 30-year sporting career he has 7 World, 5 European and 15 National titles to his name in various classes, from Laser to offshore, from Star to 49er, and was first in the ISAF Match Race world ranking in 2011. He has competed in three Olympic Games (in the Laser, 49er and Star classes) and was vice world champion in the Moth class. He has participated in the SailGP, Tp52, Rc44 and other circuits. This is his sixth America's Cup, the fifth with Luna Rossa (in 2017 he was on board Artemis). He loves sailing in his spare. If he were not a pro sailor he would still have chosen a profession related to the sea, even in another area of yachting.
