Born in the province of Bari on December 30, 1999, Danilo graduated from the Euclide Aeronautical Institute as an aeronautical expert and right after this enrolled in a professional training course that also used physical activity to develop a propensity for team building. Noted for his willingness and perseverance, he immediately received a job offer at the Neo Yachts & Composites shipyard in Bari, Italy, specialized in building carbon fiber cruising and racing hulls. In the two and a half years spent there he trained in construction and paint preparation techniques and mastered the tricks to carry out a perfect lamination. By chance he was noticed by a member of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli looking for a new resource to join the shore group; he joined the team in 2022 in the boat building department. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and motorcycling, but would like to learn to sail in order to better understand the incredible boats he helps to build. The 2024 edition will be his first America's Cup.
