TEAM

Born in S. Margherita Ligure (GE), Davide literally grew up on boats, learning to crawl on the deck of his family yacht. While growing up he participated in major international regattas and thanks to his knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics he soon became a reference figure in the racing circuits, also collaborating with Luna Rossa for the development of the TP52s. Having missed the opportunity to be part of the Italian challenger's sailing team due to a knee injury, he nonetheless joined the team in 2018 to work on the hydraulic systems and participated with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli in the 36th America's Cup. He then took part in three stages of the SailGP Circuit as hydraulic systems technician. In 2022 he won the Garmin "Beat Yesterday Awards." The 2024 AC will be his second America's Cup. In his spare time, he enjoys kitesurfing, wing foiling and biking.
