TEAM

Born in Sydney into a family of sailors (his father Mitch is a former Tornado Olympian and a leading expert on catamarans), Jordi started sailing as a child, alternating between Australia and Spain, where he currently resides. The first boat he got on at the age of 7 was a Hobie Cat in Sydney, but moving between the two hemispheres, he raced in many different classes, from Optimists to 29ers, passing through multihulls and monohulls 'as long as they are fast', and finally arriving at the bigger boats, such as the Extreme Sailing Series, GC32, etc. At the age of 16, Jordi decided to alternate professional sailing with working as a sailmaker and rib driver in Barcelona (Spain), so when the opportunity arose to join Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli as a chase boat driver, he jumped at the chance "a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," he says, officially entering the team in 2023. The one in 2024 will be his first America's Cup.
