Andrea has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Trieste. From 2004 to 2019 he worked for the MotoGP World Championship, first with Yamaha Factory Racing and then with Honda Racing Corporation, as specialist of Performance and Vehicle Control Systems. Passionate about sailing, in 2021 he took part in his first America's Cup with Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. The 2024 America's Cup will be his second campaign, where he is in charge of the development and performance of flight and rig control systems. He loves mountain biking, sailing, skiing and music.
