A professional journalist, after graduating in Modern Languages and Literature, she embarked as a sailor/hostess on cruising yachts, sailing in the Med, Asia, the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the Caribbean and participating in several classic-yacht regattas (including the America's Cup Jubilee in 2001). After settling in Milan, she first worked at Arte Navale and Yachting Library and then as an editor at Yacht & Sail (RCS), also curating a TV talk show on the America's Cup. In 2003 and 2007 she was responsible for the Italian language info team for the 32nd and 33rd America's Cup. She has worked on the texts, editing and translation of several yachting books (Spirit of Swan; 50 Years of Swan; Yacht of the 20th Century; 12 M-SI; 8 M-SI, biographies of Olin Stephens and Giovanni Cariboni). She currently curates the nautical pages for HTSI-Sole 24 ore and GQ and co-produces with Gaia Piccardi the blog Giro di Boa for Corriere della Sera. In 2022 she joined Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli as Press Officer. The 2024 Cup will be her third.
