After graduating from the Hotelier Institute of Alghero, he worked as a chef in Italy, Switzerland, Germany and on cruise ships, acquiring extensive experience that would later bring him to work for the Prada family for 17 years, also overseeing the catering of corporate events. After overseeing the opening of the Marchesi patisseries in Milan, he joined Luna Rossa in 2005, participating in the 2007, 2013 and 2021 editions of the America's Cup. The 2024 edition will be his fourth America's Cup.
