ALFA ROMEO EDIZIONE LUNA ROSSA SPECIAL SERIES UNVEILED IN NAPLES

A new range inspired by the Italian America’s Cup challenger

On the eve of the Preliminary Regatta Naples, Alfa Romeo hosted an event at Cantieri Nauticsud to launch the Edizione Luna Rossa, the brand-new line-up from the Biscione marque inspired by the Italian challenger.

Available across the Junior, Tonale, Giulia and Stelvio models, the special series marks a further development of the partnership launched in 2025 between two iconic Italian names united by a shared vision built around research, technology, materials development and performance.

Distinctive features of the new range include the Alfa Romeo logo in red and a series of bespoke details that directly reference Luna Rossa, including through the choice and use of cutting-edge materials.

The new Alfa Romeo Edizione Luna Rossa is therefore part of a collaboration that goes beyond simple sponsorship, becoming part of a broader project based on the sharing of expertise and the joint development of high-tech solutions.

«We are very pleased that Alfa Romeo has chosen to launch a new range of cars inspired by and dedicated to Luna Rossa», said Gilberto Nobili, Technology & Operations Director at Luna Rossa. «Our collaboration is built on shared values and on a continuous exchange of experience and know-how that benefits both sides. In particular, the partnership gives us access to highly advanced expertise in simulation, dynamics and virtual analysis, helping us to better understand our systems and identify potential areas for improvement at an early stage».

Santo Ficili, CEO of Alfa Romeo and Maserati, said: «Alfa Romeo and Luna Rossa are two authentic expressions of Italian excellence, united by the same ambition to bring to the world a constant drive to innovate and a pursuit of performance that accepts no compromise. This partnership goes far beyond sport and is fuelled by shared expertise, technology and vision, with the aim of continuously pushing the boundaries. Today, in Naples, on the journey towards the first America’s Cup to be held in Italy, this bond takes on even greater significance, and the new Edizione Luna Rossa is its most tangible expression, bringing to the road the pride and passion that make Made in Italy unique around the world».
